Aurabtis ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use the Thunder Backup mobile application ("the App").
Thunder Backup is designed with privacy as a core principle. The App operates locally on your device to manage and secure your files. We do not collect, transmit, store, or mirror your personal files, photos, videos, or documents to our servers or any third-party cloud.

We implement robust security measures, including AES-256 encryption, to protect your data locally on your device. However, as no security system is impenetrable, we cannot guarantee absolute security against malicious hardware compromises or user negligence.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date".
HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT (EULA)
PLEASE READ THIS DOCUMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING. BY ACCEPTING THESE TERMS AND USING THE "THUNDER VAULT" FEATURE, YOU EXPRESSLY AND IRREVOCABLY AGREE TO ALL CLAUSES BELOW. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THIS FEATURE.
1.1. The "Thunder Vault" feature is currently in a testing phase (BETA).
1.2. You acknowledge that, as an experimental version in development, the vault may present instabilities, bugs, unforeseen failures, and may not operate with the security, rigor, or stability of professional market software.
1.3. The use of this feature is entirely at your own risk. The responsible developer disclaims any warranty that the protection is infallible at this stage of the project.
2.1. Thunder Vault uses advanced encryption (AES-256 standard) executed exclusively locally on your device.
2.2. No data, encryption keys, PINs, or files are transmitted, mirrored, or stored on external or cloud servers by the developers of this app. All security resides physically on your device's hardware.
3.1. The developer and the company responsible for this app disclaim ANY liability for the loss, corruption, leakage, or inaccessibility of files stored within the vault.
3.2. The responsibility for keeping, memorizing, and managing the access PIN is SOLELY AND EXCLUSIVELY the user's. There is NO backdoor, email recovery, password hint, or technical means that allows the developers to recover access to your data in case you forget it.
3.3. If you forget your PIN, YOUR FILES WILL BE PERMANENTLY LOST and cannot be recovered by anyone, not even with forensic tools.
4.1. The user acknowledges that uninstalling this app, clearing app data/cache through the OS settings, or formatting the device will result in the IRREVERSIBLE DESTRUCTION of the encryption keys and all files stored in the vault.
4.2. It is the user's obligation to restore (decrypt) all files back to the device's public memory BEFORE performing any uninstallation procedure or changing devices.
5.1. The application is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the vault feature will be free from interruptions or errors resulting from OS updates, device memory corruption, or third-party malware (virus) attacks.
5.2. The user waives the right to claim any financial compensation, moral, or material damages arising from the loss of photos, videos, documents, or any other intellectual property kept within this vault.
6.1. The hiding feature must not be used to store illegal content resulting from criminal offenses or that violate human rights and the current laws of your country.
6.2. The developer will actively cooperate with judicial authorities if the device is seized by legal means, clarifying, however, the technical impossibility of breaking the encryption without the user's password.
